SANDWICH Textures

2010-

"SANDWICH Textures" is the collaboration project between Taisuke Koyama and an artist Kohei Nawa. From "Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 01)" to"Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 17)" were made in their trial session in Koyama's first visit to Nawa's studio SANDWICH. From "Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 18)" to "Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 24)" are the closed-up images of Nawa's drawing on the wall of the studio.
The collaboration project is still on going and the photography includes the various textures which fill the studio among materials, objects, floor and wall and also the process of live-drawing session.

「SANDWICH Textures」は彫刻家・名和晃平とのコラボレーションプロジェクト。「Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 01)」～「Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 17)」は、小山が初めて名和氏のスタジオSANDWICHを訪れた際に行われたトライアル・セッションによる。また「Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 18)」～「Untitled (SANDWICH Textures 24)」はスタジオ内の壁面に描かれたドローイングを接写したもの。
コラボレーションプロジェクトは現在も継続しており、ドローイングの撮影だけでなく、製作に用いられる素材や、スタジオ内の床や壁面など、様々なマテリアルや状態を撮影している。
